This is the most Southern part of Canada and we are sometimes called the Banana Belt. Essex County is South of Detroit, Michigan. We are paralle to Northan California and Italy. We live on a penensila with Lake St.Clair to the North, the Detroit River to the West and Lake Erie to the South. We are on the North Shore of Lake Erie.
